ObjectiveThe Institutional Inside Sales position focuses on sales growth within an assigned book of business, providing exceptional customer service and showcasing elite value to drive incremental sales and solutions to existing customers in a B2B environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Generate sales related to HVAC/R products and solutions.
- Maintain productive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support customers in quoting, take offs, order entry and coordination for parts, supplies, accessories, and equipment.
- Work with key suppliers on quoting, pricing, and product sourcing.
- Conduct data mining to identify potential product sales through report analysis, customer communications, and direct collaboration with assigned customers and dedicated outside sales representatives.
- Proactively reach out to new and existing customers to uncover opportunities by delivering Carrier Enterprise’s value proposition.
- Follow up on quotes and leads to close sales deals and achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Develop and maintain competitive information including programs, pricing, and services to help grow and improve CE’s offering.
- Develop and implement account penetration strategies including regular business reviews for key customers to maximize sales.
- Drive customer education and adoption of CE’s digital platforms to streamline and accelerate the sales process while enhancing customer service delivery.
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce to document the sales management process.
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrated performance history in sales and/or new business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
- Ability to work independently or as an active team member; results and goal oriented.
- Energetic, well‑spoken, customer centric with a desire to take sales and customer service to the next level.
- Self‑motivated and desire to achieve goals beyond what is required.
- Strong business/problem‑solving skills and strong communication/interpersonal skills. Preferred.
- Prior work experience and/or internship experience in sales or marketing.
- Knowledge of HVAC parts and supplies.
Minimum:
High School or GED. Preferred: 2‑Year Associate’s Degree.
