Senior Oncology Specialist
Location:
Orlando, Florida (On-site)
- Act as the primary customer contact to provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
- Create, execute, and manage a comprehensive territory plan, including branded sales messaging, planned programs, medical educational programs, and sales targets.
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Craft an effective marketing strategy to support sales effort.
- Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building brand and focusing on patient impact.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, and continuously learn to grow as a Senior Oncology Specialist.
- Leverage knowledge of oncology, disease state awareness, and industry changes to meet agreed results.
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related.
- OR Associate degree + 6 years sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related.
- OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related.
- Preferred experience in oncology and 3+ years sales or marketing in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries.
- Preferred product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

Annual salary range: $158,727 to $177,179 (U.S. for most locations). Compensation includes base salary, discretionary annual bonus or sales‑based incentive plan, long‑term stock incentives, comprehensive health and welfare plans, retirement and savings plans, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and opportunities for career development.
