As a Senior Outside Sales Representative, you will develop new prospects and maintain contacts with established customers to sell company products. You will interact with prospects and customers in person at their sites or other off‑site locations.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed the assigned annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products to complex accounts in the assigned territory, in compliance with company pricing policies.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims.
  • Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
  • Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed, and recommend new items for stock.
  • Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in the collection of past‑due accounts.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
  • Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
  • Travel extensively, including overnight travel.
Qualifications
  • 5years of relevant experience required; 6+years preferred.
  • 4‑year degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to learn the business and work independently to achieve goals.
  • Ability to sell and be persuasive.
Compensation

The expected base salary starts at $85,704 annually, depending on experience. The position is bonus‑eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics. The role requires the use of a personal vehicle for business purposes, with a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to help build equity in the vehicle.
