Join us as a Regional Parts Specialist within Steam America, where you will play a pivotal role in developing proposals and bids that enhance our competitiveness in the North American market. You will be at the forefront of sustaining and growing our Service Business while fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and ownership.
How You’ll Make an Impact- You will prepare proposals and formal bids, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines and timely delivery to meet both internal and external client expectations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to craft creative solutions that win business and drive success.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and other terms with clients to secure valuable contracts.
- Initiate Engineering and Operations activities by efficiently entering orders into the ERP system.
- Pursue sales opportunities using Salesforce (CRM Tool) while proactively engaging with regional sales teams and clients.
- Build strong relationships to enhance client satisfaction through collaborative selling, responsiveness, and a seamless business experience.
- Utilize tactical and strategic tools to maximize order intake and profit, while supporting regional forecasting and engaging in business improvement activities.
- Provide pricing, lead time, and inventory recommendations to the Regional Parts Manager based on market feedback, along with other tasks to support the Marketing and Sales Department.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required; an associate’s degree in business or a technical field is preferred.
- 0‑2+ years of experience in parts operations, marketing & sales, customer service, or a related field. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills in English; fluency in a second language is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel up to 5% domestically.
