The company is an authorized dealer for Leica Geosystems, Geomax, Carlson Software, and CHCNav, offering trusted brands and expert guidance. Team members work closely with clients to help them select, implement, and maintain the right tools for their projects.
The Outside Reality Capture/UAS Sales Representative is a full‑time, hybrid role based in the southern US. This position focuses on selling reality capture and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) solutions to land surveying, construction, and related industry clients throughout the region. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include prospecting and visiting customers, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing and follow‑up.
The representative will collaborate with internal service and support teams to ensure smooth equipment delivery, training, and ongoing customer satisfaction. The role also involves staying current on industry trends and manufacturer offerings to provide informed recommendations and drive growth in the reality capture and UAS product lines.
- Experience in field sales or outside sales, ideally in land surveying, construction technology, geospatial, or related industries.
- Knowledge of reality capture solutions (such as laser scanning, 3D imaging) and UAS applications for surveying, mapping, and construction.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships through in‑person client visits, product demonstrations, and consultative selling.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to explain technical concepts in clear, practical terms.
- Comfort with technology, including survey instruments, software platforms, and basic networking or data workflows.
- Self‑motivated work style with effective time management, territory planning, and follow‑up capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings and site visits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in surveying, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working with brands such as Leica Geosystems, CHCNav, Carlson Software, Freefly, Inspired Flight, or similar manufacturers is a plus.
- Part 107 certificate
Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, GIS/Geographic Information Systems, Geospatial Science, Aviation/UAS, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
