Join our ambitious Grid Technology Service sales team in North America and take the lead in shaping the energy future across the region. You will drive business continuity by building strong customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering tailored grid service solutions. You’ll immerse yourself in strategic market development, technical solution selling, and full-cycle account management – partnering closely with engineering, legal, and finance teams to craft winning proposals.
Every day, you’ll be at the forefront of negotiations, closing deals, and enabling our customers to succeed while supporting Siemens Energy’s mission for sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy.
Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations, technical proposals, and commercial bids that clearly communicate the value of grid technology solutions and services.
Negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to secure profitable orders while maintaining strong customer relationships and trust.
Building and executing long-term sales strategies across North America by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities through market research and networking.
Managing the full sales cycle in Salesforce and other CRM tools, from prospecting through post‑sale relationship management, while maintaining accurate forecasts and reporting.
Strengthening customer partnerships by delivering exceptional account management, driving repeat business, and identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a similar field.
3 or more years of B2B field sales or marketing experience, preferably with complex industrial equipment in the energy sector. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice‑versa.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with strategic thinking and forecasting ability.
Willing to travel 25% domestically and internationally.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
