Job Description General Functions

The On-Call Sales Professional provides as-needed support to the Sales Department by assisting with client inquiries, preparing sales materials, coordinating event details, and supporting the sales team throughout the booking process. This position helps ensure excellent customer service while promoting the convention center's facilities and services.

Representative Duties/Assignments
  • Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist Sales Managers with preparing proposals, contracts, and event documentation.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective clients as assigned.
  • Support event booking activities by entering and maintaining accurate information in the sales and event management system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to communicate client needs and event requirements.
  • Help prepare sales presentations, promotional materials, and marketing packets.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as requested.
  • Maintain organized client files and sales records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn event management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and possess a Florida Drivers License within thirty days of hire.
Preferences
  • Experience in hospitality, customer service and/or administrative.

Salary Information

Pay Grade: 418 - From $22.96 to $34.44
