Job Overview

You will be an integral member of the team that activelysolicitsand handles inquiries of groups that exceed 10 guestrooms per night. You willparticipatein the continuing effort to delivertailored solution sand nurture lasting relationships with our customers with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement ofoptimumsales objectives.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving group sales for Courtyard Residence Inn and Springhill Lake Nona properties. You will actively solicit and manage group inquiries of 10+ guestrooms per night, crafting tailored solutions and building long-lasting client relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving optimal sales objectives and creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities
  • With an innovative mindset,identify and enthusiastically create new contacts and develop sales leads through phone solicitation/prospecting, sales calls, trade shows, etc. Some travelmayberequired.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships.
  • Understand the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc. and strategically sell against our competition.
  • Understand fully the hotel amenities, venues, and options and provide recommendations to create authentic experiences for our groups.
  • Anticipate our guests' needs and respond promptly.
  • Create, execute, and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence).
  • Produce quotes and written confirmation to all clients. Maintaintimelyandaccuraterecording of activity to include appointments, calls made, and business leads.
  • Foster positive and productive relationships with all team members of Lake Nona Hotels.
  • Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and all other departments.
  • Utilize the freedom to go beyond to take initiative to resolve guest opportunities and create loyalty.
  • Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel comfortable, at home, and value.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests’ needs are met.
  • Promptly answer telephones and enthusiastically greet our guests with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Attend allmeetings as assigned by sales leadership.
  • Conductenthusiasticproperty site toursshowcasingthe features of each of your hotelspaired with the benefits tailored to thecustomersindividual wants and needs.
  • Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to the changing and evolving needs of the operation and other dutiesas assigned by leadership within the scope of the role
Qualifications
  • Minimumtwoyears ofprevioushotel operations or sales experience required.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Proficient working knowledge of computers in a windows environment.
  • Ability to learn and master

    Triple

  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively to adhere to deadlines asdeterminedby customers, sales team, and leadership.
