Reporting Relationship:
Security Manager

Status:
Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Summary of Duties: Normal daily security patrols both on foot and by mechanical methods. Report any and all Security and Safety issues/incidents as prescribed by company and department policy and procedures

Primary Duties:

• Patrol parking area and Gatorland property to provide guests and employees with a safe and secure environment to visit and work
• To assist in company compliance with Local, State, Federal and Company rules and regulations
• To make timely and accurate reports to manager, director and/or CEO regarding any and all incidents which happen on Gatorland property.
• Excellent writing skills is a plus.
• Act as the primary response person for all medical needs (First Aid/Injury) for all guests and employees.
• Possess good communication skills & report writing skills.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.

Education, Experience, Specialized Skills, and Knowledge Requirements: High School graduate with a current Class D Security License and 2+ years of previous security experience, or the ability to obtain a Class D Security License (company-provided training available for qualified applicants). Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image.

Must have the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations during crises to ensure professional performance of duties. Must be available to work outside the parameters of a regular work schedule when needed (extended hours, extra days, etc.).
