You will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, control access, and complete clear reports while staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. With an Armed Guard Card or license, you will respond to calls for assistance, communicate professionally with riders and staff, and deliver service with integrity through teamwork in an agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and all applicable laws, completing required checks, documentation, and training/qualification activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting public agencies as needed and completing detailed incident reports.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Control access and monitor security-related systems and activity, including observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying credentials when required, and directing individuals to appropriate resources.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Have an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
