Position: Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Rover – ORLANDO, FL
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, report concerns, and support access points while providing strong customer service and clear communication. At Allied Universal, you will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

- Mon: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Tue: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, parking areas and perimeter routes, to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, report irregularities and complete required logs, reports and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and vendors, providing directions and/or assistance while supporting a respectful, service-focused environment.
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
