As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Orlando, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and key checkpoints. You will communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, document activity, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism.

• Provide customer service to client staff, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at a logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes, and unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing to help deter unauthorized access and/or property damage; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, verifying authorization and directing individuals to proper check-in and/or staging areas per post orders.
• Document security-related activities in written reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting concerns promptly.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
