The Security Supervisor leads and coordinates Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and resort property. This role combines hands‑on supervision, incident response, and operational oversight while maintaining a welcoming, hospitality‑focused environment.

What You’ll Do as a Security Supervisor:

• Ensure Security Officers follow daily procedures in accordance with corporate policies and state regulations.
• Maintain and update the Villa Maintenance system and security records using the computer.
• Conduct and oversee internal investigations and serve as a liaison with Law Enforcement and Emergency Services.
• Manage required safety and security programs, including Bloodborne Pathogen and Hazard Communication training.
• Provide excellent guest service and support resort departments as needed.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident and investigation reports.
• Respond to critical incidents and take control of emergency scenes, including fire alarms.
• Oversee security systems, electronic lock controls, and key access systems.
• Monitor resort surveillance areas including vehicle patrols, foot patrols, pools, and storage areas.
• Coordinate security coverage for special events.
• Perform Security Officer duties when needed and assist with supervisory coverage.
• Participate in operational, safety, and risk management meetings.
• Ensure Disaster Plans, Emergency Procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
• Operate company vehicles as required.

What You Will Bring as a Security Supervisor:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is required (minimum of 3 years)
• Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Officer license (as required by the state of employment) is a plus; however, we will assist qualified candidates in obtaining this certification if needed
• Certificates in First Aid, CPR, and AED highly preferred but not required
• Prior hospitality or guest service experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure or emergency situations
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must have a Class D Security Guard License (Unarmed) issued by the State of Florida
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
• Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed
