In this driving post, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $15.71 / Hour

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify entry and exit activity as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery check-in processes.
• Support day-to-day location operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with staff and guests, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
