Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or public agency contacts.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and access‑control concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or public access points to help deter unauthorized activity, enforce post orders, and support compliance with location rules and regulations.
- Assist with emergency situations, customer interactions, and/or requests for assistance while maintaining a professional presence and supporting coordinated response with law enforcement and/or first responders when needed.
- Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age (for armed roles).
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
