Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a correctional location;
Screen visitors, staff, contractors, and/or personal property using assigned screening equipment and established post procedures to help support security-related operations;
Verify identification, maintain visitor entry records, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site policies and communication protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter zones as assigned
