What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report security-related concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Support daily operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd and visitor management, and completing routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen is required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
