Position: Security Officer Patrol Driver Deterrence

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders, and completing required logs, reports, and incident documentation.

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
