Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through professional communication and customer service.

Part Time Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public sector partners as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, screen for unusual behavior and/or suspicious items when required by site policy, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations through proper channels.
- Support crowd management, access control, and public assistance during peak travel periods, special events, service disruptions, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence.
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
