As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Orlando, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
- Support transportation‑related operations by remaining visible throughout assigned areas, providing directional assistance, and assisting with crowd management, restricted area control, and/or incident response as needed.
- Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
