Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a shelter location.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.;
Monitor access to the location and assist with visitor, resident, and delivery interactions in accordance with site expectations and posted rules.;
Support a respectful environment by observing resident activity, reporting policy concerns, and communicating with compassion during routine interactions and/or escalated situations.
