Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 07:30 PM - 07:30 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, public areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professionalism and readiness while performing assigned duties.

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
