Position: Maintenance Technician /Contract /Orlando Florida 32809

AGS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, as well as maintaining records.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gather required materials.
  • Establish environmental systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge valves, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; complete power connections.
  • Test and repair environmental systems by operating the systems, identifying malfunctions, and repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components.
  • Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
  • Document actions by completing equipment records.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
  • Complete related tasks to accomplish maintenance and organizational goals.
