Facilities Technician – 2‑10 pm Shift (Full‑Time)

Lake Highland Preparatory School

Lake Highland’s Facilities department seeks a Facilities Technician to support the mission of Lake Highland Preparatory School by maintaining safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds. The position performs a variety of routine maintenance, repair, and operations tasks in support of daily school activities and special events, and provides excellent service to students, faculty, staff, and families.

This is a full‑time, fully benefitted, non‑exempt, 12‑month position. 2‑10 pm, Monday through Friday; may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended or alternate shifts in support of school operations and events.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two (2) years of experience in general building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related trade; or completion of a relevant technical training program or certificate.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
• Preferred: prior experience working in a school, college, or similar institutional setting; experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or another skilled trade.
