Description

Work Skill is hiring an experienced Commercial Pool Plumber to join a leading contractor specializing in resort-style and themed aquatic installations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with a background in mechanical systems and large‑scale commercial construction
. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of plumbing for aquatic environments
, the ability to work alongside multidisciplinary trades, and leadership capabilities to support field execution and project success.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to high‑profile projects across resorts, theme parks, and other large‑scale recreational facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Proficient in plumbing methods and practices.
  • Install, assemble, and maintain pipe systems and pipe supports.
  • Plan installations or repairs to avoid obstructions and interference with other trade work.
  • Knowledge of pipe supports, including brackets, clamps, and hangers, utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of pool equipment (e.g., pumps, air compressors, actuated valving, sensors) using hand and power tools.
  • Accurately interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Assist pipe fitter foreman with project layout and elevation shooting.
  • Operate electrical, air-powered, and manual hand tools during projects.
  • Perform general construction labor tasks.
  • Assist with fabrication during projects.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as required.
  • Read a site level and interpret elevation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience working with commercial pools and/or mechanical aquatic systems.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems related to large-scale water features, resort pools, or themed attractions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard tools and equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic components.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and best practices in commercial aquatic construction.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments and alongside multiple trades on active job sites.
