Preferred: 3+ years of Heavy Truck Diesel Experience; computer skills; hydraulic and refuse experience a plus!

Hours and Location- Monday‑Friday every week with rotational Saturdays
- 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

- The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Orlando, FL hauling site
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Perform safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing
- Exposure to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often
- Exposure to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often
- Operations in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
