Position Overview

Shop Welder / Metalwork Field Installer (1st & 3rd Shift)

Pay Rate: $18 – $26 per hour.

Randall is a leading self‑performing subcontractor serving Florida and the Southeast. A family‑owned company with over 400 employees and 35+ years in operation, RANDALL delivers services and products through our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility set on 25 acres in Central Florida.

• Work independently and lead a team.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Layout and cross‑check shop set‑ups.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
• Oversee the installation of fine finish elements.
• Set up, operate and maintain field welding equipment; TIG, MIG and Flux Core.
• Value and exhibit safe working methods.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade.

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
