Job Title: GSE Aircraft Technician Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment and premier service provider as a skilled GSE Mechanic. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment, with a focus on engines, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance repairs on GSE equipment.
- Conduct light and heavy repairs on GSE equipment.
- Diagnose and repair engine mechanical issues, including diesel, gas, and LP engines.
- Troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Possess knowledge of Generators 400 Hz and 28 volt systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Read and understand hydraulic flow schematics.
- Utilize computer software to diagnose Powertrain Management Systems.
- Repair 80 and 48 volt DC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair Airstart systems.
- Engage in ongoing training to further knowledge of equipment.
- Maintain required levels of productivity.
- Accurately complete vehicle repair orders in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems from schematics.
- Previous GSE experience preferred, with 3 years of experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-10 years of prior GSE Aircraft equipment experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have tooling to meet minimum tool list requirements.
- Vocational training certificate or equivalent work experience.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to obtain an Airport issued .

Work EnvironmentWork at FLL Airport on the 2nd shift. Must have the ability to obtain an airport badge. Engage in a hands‑on role requiring physical endurance and technical expertise.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
