Plant Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled technician experienced in drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling installation, woodworking, and general construction repairs. This role supports facility maintenance and renovation projects by performing preventive and corrective work to maintain safe, functional, and high-quality interior spaces. Responsibilities include wall and drywall installation/demo, carpet and VCT replacement, acoustical ceiling work, painting, woodworking, and general facility improvements while following safety standards and delivering quality workmanship.

$20.00- $25.00 per hour DOE

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade training preferred
• Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling installation, carpet replacement, and woodworking
• Proficient with construction tools, equipment, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Physical ability to lift materials and perform construction-related tasks
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
• Certifications in trades or experience in commercial, residential, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability

• Perform drywall installation, demolition, patching, and repairs
• Complete carpet and VCT flooring replacement projects
• Install, demo, and reconfigure acoustical ceilings
• Perform painting, woodworking, and interior finish work
• Support preventive and corrective facility maintenance activities
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional work environments
• Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail on all projects
• Follow safety procedures and complete additional duties as assigned
