Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician (Carpenter's Helper) to support ongoing facility improvement projects. This role is ideal for someone with basic carpentry and general maintenance experience who is comfortable working with tools, assisting with installations, and handling physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installing and repairing drywall
Support installation of suspended ceiling systems
Move and relocate heavy equipment and materials as needed
Perform general maintenance and carpentry-related tasks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines

Qualifications:

Prior experience in carpentry, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred
Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and construction methods
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Schedule:

Part-time hours (schedule may vary based on project needs)
Temporary assignment
