Job Overview
The Duct Apprentice is responsible for assisting the Duct Mechanic on the installation of the Units, Ductwork, Grilles and the exhaust systems. Duct Apprentices are expected to utilize a combination of skills and experience to perform work necessary to maximize the functionality of our customer’s systems and minimize downtime.

The Duct Apprentice will report to the Job Site Duct Mechanic

A successful Duct Apprentice is responsible for the following outcomes:

• Showing up on time and ready to work
• Have the proper tools that are trade specific
• Completing and returning time cards in a neat, orderly and timely manner.
• Advocating the Schwenn Company’s Vision of being our clients preferred and most desirable choice for their mechanical and electrical service needs.

The Duct Apprentice is one of the primary engines of work s position is always in the assist mode to help those around them. This position is critical to the current and future success of the competition of current projects and those in the future.

• Make sure that every day that the job toolbox has essential materials
• At the end of every day, the ladders and tools are secured and looked up.
• Work in a safe manner and beware of your surroundings
• Wearing all required safety gear as job site requires
• Work as a team with supervisors and coworkers to execute work as efficiently and to the highest standard possible

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able and willing to work in a team environment
• Eager to learn and be continually educated
• Able to pass a drug test
• Able to clearly communicate with management, coworkers and customers
