Field Tech – InProduction What to Expect
- Daily routine: building seating structures at venues such as football, soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks.
- Full‑time position predominantly on the road for 3‑4 weeks at a time.
- Work environment is generally outdoors, in sun and fresh air.
- Travel accommodations and hotel lodging arranged and provided; two crew members share a room.

- Growth and opportunity: develop construction skills and potential progression to Crew Lead, Foreman, Project Manager, etc.
- Build and break down scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
- Assist in safe, efficient installation/removal of equipment per project plans.
- Inspect all scaffold components prior to assembly.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, remove debris, materials.
- Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles.
- Study plans and equipment lists before on‑site installation.
- Ensure safety measures are followed; wear and use safety equipment.
- Maintain fall protection requirements while erecting/dismantling scaffolds.
- Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained at end of shift.
- Ensure client satisfaction with quality of service and finished product within schedule.
- Other duties as required.
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred, with good driving record.
- Familiar with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers.
- Comfortable with heights.
- Creative problem solver, multitasker.
- Team player, able to work independently.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Can read and understand basic safety instructions.
- Capable of working overtime.
- Preferred, but not required: bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Compensation: $18 hourly.
