Construction Pipefitter Orlando

Responsibilities

• Expertise in refrigeration piping and fixture setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Work with all levels of employees throughout the company.

• Knowledge of commercial installation of refrigeration systems.
• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC knowledge.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment and tools of the trade.
• Have proper brazing technique.
• Able to do overhead line sets.
• Able to do case lineup, pipe and layout drains.
• Able to demo walk-in, install new, hang, pipe, drain evaporator coils.
• Able to work independently.
• Good mechanical skills and use of hand and power tools.
• Safe work practices and safety rule compliance.
• Ability to be flexible; working days, nights, and out of town.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

• Minimum 1 year of proven pipe fitting experience, ideally in commercial refrigeration.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and technical specifications interpretation.
• Skills in welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical joining.
• Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques, tools, and materials for commercial refrigeration.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varied environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Availability for out-of-town work with night shifts (weekends off).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

High School Diploma or GED and or combination equivalent of education.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will be required to stand and walk frequently. The employees will travel to jobsites. Employees will be required to use a ladder or equipment to reach heights to assist and inspect completed work.

Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
