Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Installer or Installer Assistant to join our team. The Specialties Installer will measure and install specialty products in customers’ homes while representing our company in a professional and cost-effective manner. Products include glass enclosures, mirrors, wire shelving and specialty accessories.
Role Responsibilities- Install frameless and framed shower glass doors with precision and care.
- Mount wall mirrors, glass panels, and shelving units.
- Install bath hardware and accessories such as towel bars, robe hooks, and grab bars.
- Pick up, verify, load, and drive materials to the job site.
- Accurately measure all areas before installation.
- Ensure all work is performed to company standards, builder’s plans and local building codes.
- Interact professionally with clients on-site, maintaining a clean and respectful work environment.
- Complete all required documentation related to the jobs assigned.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during installations, offering practical solutions.
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good condition per company policy.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant installation experience (shower doors, mirrors, bath accessories).
- Strong knowledge of residential bathroom construction and finishing.
- Skilled with power tools, levels, and other installation equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy glass panels and equipment safely.
- This role would require the ability to lift, push, and/or pull loads in excess of 50 to 75 lbs.
- This role would require the ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, and crawl for extended periods.
- This role would require the ability to use hands to handle and/or control tools for extended periods.
- Fundamental mathematical comprehension required.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines required.
- Travel required:
daily travel required. - Work Monday – Friday (some Saturdays as needed).
- Experience with custom and high-end installations.
- Background in glazing, carpentry, or similar trades is a plus.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
