Maintenance Technician

McKinley is looking for a motivated and energetic Apartment Maintenance Technician 2 to join our team in Orlando, FL
.

Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00/Hourly

• Provide fast, friendly, and high‑quality maintenance service for residents.
• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall repair, general cleaning, appliance maintenance, and exterior structure maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for the next resident by carefully inspecting, evaluating, and making any necessary repairs.
• Ensure workplace safety through participation in all applicable safety rules and requirements.

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry).
• Desire to provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.
• Great communication skills and professionalism.
• Comfortable bringing and using own basic hand tools at work.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required; must drive own vehicle around the property.
• Walking between buildings and grounds pickup; no golf cart provided.
• On‑call duty, including weekends, holidays, and snow removal during winter months.
• Previous property management experience preferred but not required.
