Audio Visual Lead Technician

MCS is hiring for a full‑time, permanent Audio Visual Lead Technician in Orlando, FL. The role requires experience with A/V, Data, Voice, Networking, and Fiber cabling, strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and staying current with industry trends and government regulations.

• Terminate, test, solder, and dress all low voltage cabling.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use scissor lifts or boom lifts.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians.
• Travel to project and user locations around the Greater Orlando Area.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) badge.
• OSHA 10/30, BOGEN, CTS, Creston, AMX, or Extron certifications desired.

• 5+ years of Audio Visual, Low Voltage, or Control Systems installation experience.
• Ability to travel to project sites outside the Greater Orlando Area.
• Strong understanding of commercial A/V systems, structured cabling, networking, and fiber optic infrastructure.

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours.
• Must travel within the Greater Orlando Area and potentially outside the area.
• Must adhere to safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
