The Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles, landscape tools, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role supports daily operations by keeping equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company procedures.

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair company vehicles and equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on landscape tools, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, blowers, and trimmers
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation on all maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop and work areas
• Coordinate and work collaboratively with other team members and trades
• Operate in accordance with Berman policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations

• Minimum 2 years of experience with vehicle, equipment, or small engine maintenance and repair
• Experience with small engines, including 2-cycle equipment
• Knowledge of diesel engines and light-duty or heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in various positions and environments
• Ability to read and maintain service documentation and follow maintenance procedures
• Strong problem‑solving and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to pass a background check
