Lead Scaffold Erector

Job Description Summary

Lead Scaffold Erector – responsible for designing, erecting, and dismantling various types of scaffolds on large long‑term projects in the Orlando area. Acts as a mentor and coach to Scaffold Erectors and works with tools and a small crew under the supervision of a Foreman on site.

• Design and erect various types of scaffolds.
• Mentor and coach Scaffold Erectors to aid in their development.
• Work with tools and lead a small crew to erect and dismantle scaffolding under Foreman supervision.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Ensure scaffolding loads are not exceeded and maintain knowledge of various scaffolding materials.
• Operate safely at considerable heights.

• Minimum of 2 years Scaffold Erector experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Trade school training preferred but not required.
• Ability to work safely at heights.
• Bilingual language skills a plus.
• Good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Understanding of various types of scaffolding materials.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 40 pounds or more, and work indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $18.99 – $23.74 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
