Commercial Sheetmetal Mechanic

Pay Rate: $24 - $32

Randall Mechanical is currently seeking qualified Commercial Sheet metal Mechanics to work on large projects in Orlando and across Central Florida to the east coast.

Randall’s Sheet Metal Mechanics are responsible for the fabrication and installation of HVAC ductwork in very large projects in commercial or industrial buildings.

• Three to five years of experience in commercial sheet metal duct installation work
• GED or equivalent diploma
• Familiarity with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites

• Possess all necessary tools of the trade
• Work well with others
• Effective communication skills
• Read blueprints and diagrams
• Familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial sheet metal ductwork installations
• Capable of operating scissor lifts
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

This is primarily a shop or field jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
