• responsible for all arc and gas welding performed in the park.
• responsible for employee scheduling and daily workday functions.
• ensure all ndt and documentation is performed to sea standards.
• responsible for maintaining a yearly budget.
• ensure shop material and tool inventory is maintained.
• responsible for continuing education in the weld shop.
• responsible for sending out a daily report.
• responsible for requesting quotes and placing material requisitions.
• responsible for all welding certifications, updates, and documentation.
• responsible for safe work environment.
• responsible for scheduling p.m. Services on all equipment and required documentation.
• must be a team leader.
• must have good communication skills.
• provide performance appraisal on each employee.
• must be able to do a project estimate for new projects and have a working knowledge of blueprints and welding specification.
