Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician, Utility Technician
The Operator Energy System is responsible for routine maintenance and operation of CFTOD Plants that produce chilled, hot water and compressed air for the Walt Disney World Resort. The role involves monitoring plant equipment and system status, responding to plant alerts and alarms, and may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces across the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
BasicQualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ working experience with industrial equipment operation or a related field
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Universal EPA certification or successful completion of this certificate within 3 months of employment
- Working knowledge of energy production equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, diesel powered generators, fire tube boilers, centrifugal air compressors, plant controls and ancillary equipment
- Experience working with different types of oil, grease and lubricants
- Possess the ability to interpret blueprints and flow charts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
