Automotive Diesel Technician
Location:
Orlando, FL, US. Full‑time position with salary range of $30,000 to $45,000 annually.
We are a growing group of five privately owned dealerships in the southeastern region focused on 100% customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Service Technician to join our newly expanded service department.
Signing bonus based on experience is available.
Laptop and MDI provided.
Toolbox relocation available.
We offer 100% match to the GM Technician Recognition Program. World‑class technicians earn $12,000 annually.
ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed of any additional service needed and provide an estimate of time for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification required.
B level qualifications, including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
Dexterity and steady hand; excellent hand–eye coordination.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competence.
Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Team player with effective collaboration ability.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
Valid driver’s license required; pre‑employment drug screening.
- Hourly flat‑rate pay based on GM warranty time, labor time guides, and/or menu pricing.
