Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Orlando, FL. The Carpenter will perform a variety of commercial construction tasks, including layout, framing, and finish carpentry for new builds and renovations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting construction plans, measuring and cutting materials, installing structures and fixtures, and ensuring work meets project specifications and safety standards. The role involves regular use of hand tools and power tools, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

The Carpenter is expected to support project timelines, follow company safety protocols, and contribute to high-quality workmanship on every job.

Qualifications

  • Strong carpentry skills, including framing and finish carpentry for commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in safely operating power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
  • Comfort and accuracy in using hand tools including hammers, levels, tape measures, and chisels.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of construction site safety practices and commitment to a safe work environment.
  • Reliable transportation to the Orlando, FL job site and ability to work full-time on-site.
  • Physical ability to lift materials, stand, bend, and work in varying weather conditions throughout the day.
  • Previous commercial carpentry experience preferred; relevant trade school or apprenticeship is a plus.
