Role Description The Electrical Foreman & Skilled Mechanics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, FL. The role involves overseeing and performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising field teams, planning and assigning work, reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams, and coordinating with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines and quality expectations.

The position also requires diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems, verifying materials and equipment needs, and maintaining accurate documentation of work performed. Team members are expected to model safe work practices, mentor less experienced electricians, and contribute to a positive, collaborative jobsite culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them to practical field work.
  • Experience in electrical contracting, including managing projects, coordinating crews, and working with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring, installation of panels and fixtures, and reading blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Previous experience as an electrical foreman, lead electrician, or skilled mechanic on construction or service projects.
  • Thorough understanding of NEC, local electrical codes, and jobsite safety regulations; OSHA training is a plus.
  • Ability to lead, train, and support team members while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and clients.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to work on-site across the Central Florida area as needed.
  • Relevant trade school certificate, apprenticeship completion, or journeyman-level experience; state electrical license or equivalent credential preferred (Not required).
