We re seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of 5 years experience in starting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units. As a vital member of our team, you ll handle the service and installation of commercial HVAC equipment, employing your expertise in larger commercial HVAC arenas, and If you re passionate about ensuring top-notch indoor air comfort and thrive in a dynamic work environment this is the place for you, apply today!
Roleand Responsibilities
- Service and install commercial HVAC equipment.
- Perform control wiring and experienced in start-up procedures.
- Inspect and make adjustments to new equipment operations to ensure reliable indoor air comfort.
- Handle operation, reclaim, and charging of refrigerants.
- Solder and braze new copper piping, as well as install PVC piping for condensation.
- Maintain inventory and supplies of air conditioning and refrigeration truck stock.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to make repairs to HVAC equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units, or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of safety precautions associated with HVAC work.
- Required permits and licenses to repair, maintain, and operate refrigeration and HVAC systems (EPA Certified).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work duties.
- Sound professional judgment and commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.
