Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Electrician I to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems across a large commercial or institutional facility. This individual will help ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, responding to service requests, and supporting facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced working within building maintenance environments.
This position will be Wednesday
- Saturday, 3pm to 1:30am

- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and applicable electrical codes.
- Experience using common electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or within a team environment.
- 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a commercial, healthcare, educational, manufacturing, or institutional environment.
- Experience supporting large campuses, universities, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Experience working with transformers, motor controls, generators, and power distribution equipment.
- Fire alarm system maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or Integrated Work Management Systems (IWMS).
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work order management systems.
- Ability to support after-hours, weekend, or emergency maintenance activities.
