Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Orlando, FL. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within various construction projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of electrical codes, the ability to interpret technical diagrams, and the skill to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

• Install and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting, panels, and switches.
• Bend and install conduit to accommodate specific wiring requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for project accuracy.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to breakers, transformers, and outlets.
• Test electrical systems for continuity and safety using standard testing devices.
• Ensure all installations meet National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

• Proven experience as an electrician in a construction or commercial setting.
• Proficiency in using electrical hand tools and specialized testing equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Possession of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic electrician toolset.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to construction project timelines.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Orlando area.

• Must possess manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding safely.
• Physically capable of pulling heavy wires and cables through conduits.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and non-climate-controlled environments.
• Ability to distinguish colors for identifying color-coded wiring.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for extended durations.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
