Junior Maintenance Technician

Site / Field | Multi-Location THE ROLE As a Junior Maintenance Tech at El Car Wash, you keep our sites looking sharp and running right. You'll handle painting, surface prep, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs across multiple Florida locations, and partner with our Maintenance Technicians on larger projects, buildouts, and site refreshes. This is a hands-on, project-driven role for someone who takes pride in clean lines, solid fixes, and finished work.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN Painting & Finishes:
Prep, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces. Patch, caulk, and sand for clean lines and full coverage. Keep brand colors and finishes consistent across every site.

Handyman Repairs:
Handle drywall, carpentry, doors, hardware, fixtures, signage mounting, and general fix-it work. Knock out punch lists and touch-ups so nothing sits unfinished.

Project Support:
Partner with Maintenance Technicians on larger projects, buildouts, and equipment installs. Stage materials, prep work areas, and keep projects moving on schedule.

Site Presentation & Upkeep:
Keep equipment rooms, chemical storage areas, and tool inventory clean and organized. Support lot cleaning, tunnel detail, and minor structural repairs.

Safety & Compliance:
Follow all OSHA, ECW, and site-level safety protocols without exception. Use required PPE, follow ladder and lift safety, and handle paints and solvents per SDS guidelines.

Documentation & Communication:
Log all work accurately in Wash Assist, complete tickets by priority, and keep your Tech leads and Regional Manager informed on project status.

WHAT YOU BRINGHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a clean driving record. You'll travel between locations daily

Hands-on experience with painting and general repairs (drywall, carpentry, basic fixtures)
Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and paint equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and operate outdoors in Florida heat Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a project punch list independently

Prior experience in painting, drywall, carpentry, general contracting, or a mechanical trade is a plus Basic knowledge of surface prep, paint types, and finishes is a plusHOW YOU SHOW UP: ECW COMPETENCIES Ownership Mindset:
