Now Hiring Millwrights in Orlando FL

Join a growing recycling operation with unlimited earning potential. We are seeking an experienced Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at a state-of-the-art recycling facility. This position is responsible for performing mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, equipment installations, and welding on a variety of industrial recycling and mining equipment. If you have a strong mechanical background, welding experience, and enjoy working in a hands-on industrial environment, we want to hear from you.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

Shift: 7:30 AM until approximately 5:00 PM

End times may vary based on production and maintenance needs

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on recycling and mining equipment
  • Complete conveyor repairs, belt changes, and component replacements
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, bearings, and related mechanical systems
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Perform stick welding repairs and fabrication as needed
  • Utilize air arc gouging equipment and cutting torches safely and effectively
  • Support equipment installations and facility improvement projects
  • Operate or work from skid steers, forklifts, and high-reach equipment when performing maintenance activities
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and maintenance best practices
Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, processing, mining, recycling, or heavy industrial environment
  • OR
  • Minimum 10 years of welding experience in an industrial setting
Technical Skills
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Experience with:
    Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics
  • Proficient in stick welding
  • Experience using air arc gouging equipment and torches
  • Comfortable working around and utilizing forklifts, skid steers, and elevated access equipment
Ideal Candidate
  • Approximately 60% mechanical maintenance / 40% welding experience
  • Background in industrial manufacturing, recycling, mining, aggregates, or heavy equipment environments
  • Self-motivated with a strong safety mindset
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $73000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Orlando, FL.
