Advanced Maintenance Mechanic | MHE & Facility Systems
Pay: $25-28 per hour depending on experience.
We’re looking for a highly skilled, hands‑on Maintenance Mechanic who knows how to keep a distribution center running. This is NOT an entry‑level maintenance role. We need someone experienced working on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and facility systems in a fast‑paced warehouse or industrial environment.
If you’ve worked on forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, or facility maintenance, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Be Doing- Troubleshooting and repairing Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Performing preventive and emergency maintenance on:
- Forklifts
- Reach trucks
- Order pickers
- Electric pallet jacks
- Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and drivetrain issues
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and repair manuals
- Supporting facility maintenance including:
- HVAC/Refrigeration systems
- Plumbing
- Dock doors
- Warehouse racking
- Air systems
- Building lighting
- Welding and fabrication as needed
- Tracking maintenance activity, labor, and parts usage
- Helping train and mentor junior mechanics
- Maintaining OSHA and safety compliance standards
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 4+ years working on MHE equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or similar equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
- Experience with maintenance systems like MP2, Data Stream 7i, or Maintenance Connection is a plus
- Technical training or trade school experience preferred
This is a distribution center environment with active equipment and varying temperatures. Candidates should be comfortable working around moving equipment, noise, dust, and industrial conditions.
Flexible scheduling may be required based on operational needs.
